Dallas Business Journal Honors Dotti Reeder With 2018 Women in Business Award

The Dallas Business Journal announced the honorees for the 2018 Women in Business Awards this week, including Tolleson Wealth Management’s Dotti Reeder. Thirty women were selected by the publication to represent different industries and roles throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This year, the awards were focused on transformative ingenuity and enterprising imagination in the workplace.

Since joining the firm in 2014 after successful careers with several major financial firms, Reeder immediately played a critical role in promoting its unique business model and exemplifying a positive role model for women in the financial services profession. She is one of the most externally-facing woman leaders for the firm and is actively involved in the community, both from a business and service perspective. Her passion for the community also translates within the workplace, as she helps lead the firm’s internal “Community Connections” committee by recommending non-profit partnership engagement strategies.

The 2018 honorees for the Women in Business Awards will be honored at a luncheon in August and will be profiled in a Dallas Business Journal August publication.

The panel of judges, which is comprised of Women in Business alumnae and community leaders, base their decisions solely on a nomination form. The form included questions regarding the nominee’s contributions to the organization and community involvement. The nominee’s organization profile was also included in the nomination form.
