CIO Eric Bennett Talks 2022 Inflation with Dallas Business Journal and D Magazine
Since last fall, the investment world has focused heavily on inflation – debating whether it is a shorter or longer-term problem. As the economy has not seen high inflation since the 1980s, investors today are faced with mostly negative memories from that period.
With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, Chief Investment Officer Eric W. Bennett, CFA, spoke recently on this topic in local publications Dallas Business Journal and D CEO.
“What’s different now is that people are feeling it,” Bennett says in the article by D CEO when asked about inflation.
As it remains at the top of everyone’s mind, Bennett says there aren’t many changes being made to client portfolios. In his interview with Dallas Business Journal, he stated, “The economy goes through ups and downs and will be strong in the next five to 10 years.”
The team continues to track and evaluate inflation closely but remains optimistic long-term as they monitor market variables.
